01 — Seller

Who sells

Kirat and the Blueprint are sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy runs the checkout, takes the payment and handles VAT. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase: lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms.

The software license comes from the publisher, digitalpositiv, Daniel Fischer, Türltorstraße 4, 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Germany (the "Licensor"), under the end-user license agreement in section 07. Publisher details are in the Imprint.

02 — Bill of materials

What you get

One purchase, one ZIP download. It contains:

  • 01Claude Desktop extension (.mcpb)For Claude Desktop chats on macOS and Windows. Claude Desktop ships its own Node.js, so you install nothing else.
  • 02Claude Code pluginSame server, same features. For Claude Code in a terminal or VS Code, local sessions in Claude Desktop's Code tab, and SSH sessions (installed on the remote machine). Needs Node.js 20 or later.
  • 03Cloud setup script (cloud/setup.sh)For Claude Code cloud sessions: a one-time setup of your cloud environment. The script downloads exactly your version of Kirat from the Kirat download host, verifies its SHA-256 checksum and installs it. If anything fails, the session starts without Kirat, and the failed state can stay cached until you edit the setup script. The cloud limits are listed in section 03.
  • 04The license textThe end-user license agreement for your version. It is reproduced in section 07.

It is a one-time purchase: no subscription, no seats, no account with us.

The license is proprietary: one person, any number of your own devices and your own cloud environments, no redistribution. A cloud environment shared with others needs a license for each person. The download address in the setup script is part of your purchase, like the ZIP. Using the results in your own work, including commercial work, is fine.

Blueprint (separate product)

The Blueprint is for people who want to build or adapt their own council server with a coding agent. It contains documents only — no code and no installable extension:

  • the specification: structured requirements for the tools;
  • the architecture decisions, with the reasoning behind each;
  • the acceptance checklist an agent can verify itself against;
  • the benchmark data behind the numbers on this site.

You do not need the Blueprint to use Kirat. The license terms for the Blueprint documents will be published here before checkout opens.

03 — Requirements

System requirements and limits

Please check these before you buy.

Fig. 3.1 — Where it runs

Kirat is a program, not a service. It works only where Claude runs tools on a machine that has Kirat installed.

In short: Claude Desktop (macOS/Windows) and Claude Code; Claude Code cloud sessions with a one-time setup — not the browser or mobile chat.

Works in

  • ●Claude Desktop chats on macOS and Windows Uses the .mcpb extension.
  • ●Claude Code in a terminal or VS Code Uses the Claude Code plugin. Needs Node.js 20 or later; installing it needs the claude command-line tool once.
  • ●Local sessions in Claude Desktop's Code tab Also the Claude Code plugin. The .mcpb extension is made for chats, not for Code tab sessions.
  • ●SSH sessions The plugin, installed on the remote machine.
  • ●
Claude Code cloud sessions — limited, with a one-time cloud environment setup Code tab cloud sessions, Claude Code on the web or in the mobile app. Once per cloud environment:
    1. Paste the block from the download (cloud/setup.sh) at the top of the environment's setup script.
    2. Add your two keys as environment variables. We recommend the names KIRAT_OPENAI_API_KEY and KIRAT_GEMINI_API_KEY: they don't collide with a project's own OPENAI_API_KEY. Kirat also accepts OPENAI_API_KEY and GEMINI_API_KEY.
    3. Network access: if it is Full, there is nothing to change. Otherwise set it to Custom (in newer apps: Limited) with the package-manager default list, plus api.openai.com and the Kirat download host.
Read the cloud limits below first.

Does not work in

  • ○Chat in the browser (claude.ai)
  • ○Chat in the Claude mobile apps Claude Code in the mobile app runs as a cloud session; that works with the cloud setup.
  • ○Cowork tasks that run in the cloud
  • ○Networks on your own computer that require an HTTP proxy Claude Code cloud environments work.
  • ○Organizations that restrict Desktop extensions to an allowlist Manual installs are blocked; ask your admin.

Cloud limits — check before you buy

  • !Everyone who uses the environment can read its environment variables — including your two keys. Don't share the environment with people who should not use them.
  • !The daily budget counts per session. Every cloud session starts fresh, so Kirat's daily budget counts per session, not across all your sessions that day. Set spending limits at OpenAI and Google: in the cloud, they are your real ceiling.
  • !Background jobs and recent results end with the session. They are lost when the session's machine ends.
  • !Two hosts to allow. Besides api.openai.com, the environment's network access must allow the Kirat download host (Gemini is covered by the default list).
  • !A failed setup can stay cached. If the setup fails, the session still starts, just without Kirat — and the failed state can stay cached for new sessions until you edit the setup script (any change makes new sessions run it again).

Why the extension never reaches a cloud session: cloud sessions run on Anthropic's servers, in a cloud environment, and cannot reach a program on your computer — even if Claude Desktop lists Kirat as switched on under "+ → Connectors" in such a session. A cloud session has Kirat only if its cloud environment has the Kirat setup.

Which kind of Code tab session is it? The environment picker in the prompt box shows it: Local, SSH, WSL or the name of a cloud environment. Local and SSH sessions use the plugin; a cloud environment needs the cloud setup.

Not tested: WSL sessions and local Cowork tasks.

kirat_image and image input work with files on your computer. They suit Claude Code best.

API keys and costs

  • You need your own OpenAI API key and Google Gemini API key, both with billing enabled.
  • Kirat also runs with one key. The council then has one external member, and every result names the missing key.
  • You pay OpenAI and Google directly for what you use, under your accounts and their terms. These costs are not part of this purchase.
  • The budget guard blocks calls that could exceed the daily budget (default $5 per UTC day, adjustable). It works on a best-effort basis. Set spending limits at the providers as well.
  • In Claude Code cloud sessions, the keys are environment variables of your cloud environment, readable by everyone who uses it, and the daily budget counts per session. Spending limits at OpenAI and Google are the real ceiling there.
04 — Refunds

Refunds

Checkout has not opened yet. The refund terms will be published here before it does.

Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

05 — Updates

Updates

  • Compatibility updates are free when possible. There is no guarantee.
  • Larger new versions may be sold separately.
  • Model names and prices are settings. If a provider retires a model, you enter the new model name and its two prices. No update is needed for that.
  • To update the Claude Desktop extension, install the new .mcpb the same way. Your keys and settings are kept.
06 — Support

Support

For problems with purchase, download or installation, email support@kirat.ai. The same address is in the Imprint.

Support does not include implementation consulting, and there is no guaranteed response time.

07 — License

End-user license agreement

This is the license text for Kirat 1.0. The copy shipped in your download is authoritative for that version.

KIRAT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

Version 1.0

Licensor: digitalpositiv, Daniel Fischer, Türltorstraße 4, 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Germany

By installing or using Kirat (the "Software") you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software.

1. LICENSE GRANT

With a paid purchase, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on computers you own or control, including cloud development environments in your own accounts, for your own personal or internal business purposes, in any number of your own projects. One license covers one person. Each additional person who uses the Software needs their own license.

2. WHAT YOU MAY DO

  • Install the Software in Claude Desktop and/or Claude Code on any number of your own devices and in your own cloud development environments (for example Claude Code cloud environments).
  • Change its configuration and modify your installed copy for your own use.
  • Keep backup copies of the files you received.

3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

  • Copy, distribute, publish, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise make the Software, its source code or its download address available to anyone else, in whole or in substantial part, whether modified or not. A cloud environment that other people can use counts as making the Software available to them, unless each of them holds their own license; such licensed users may see the download address in that environment.
  • Offer the Software, or a service substantially based on it, to third parties (for example as a hosted service or as part of a product you sell).
  • Remove or alter license notices.

These restrictions do not apply to the third-party components listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, which remain under their own licenses.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND COSTS

The Software sends the questions, context, code and images you give it to OpenAI and Google using your own API keys. Their terms and privacy policies apply to that use, and you pay their API fees directly. The built-in budget guard limits spending on a best-effort basis; it is not a guarantee. Set spending limits with the providers as well.

5. UPDATES AND SUPPORT

The Licensor may, but is not obliged to, provide updates. Compatibility updates (for example when a provider retires a model) are provided on a best-effort basis without any commitment. Support for purchase, download and installation questions is provided by email; implementation help is not included.

6. WARRANTY

The Software is provided as is. AI models can be wrong; review results before relying on them. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor gives no warranty that the Software is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose.

7. LIABILITY

The Licensor is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory product liability law. For slight negligence, the Licensor is liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. TERMINATION

This license ends automatically if you breach it. You must then delete all copies of the Software.

9. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including statutory warranty rights. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; its terms apply to the purchase.

10. GOVERNING LAW

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
